About BRAAC:
Our Club is here to provide Auburn Alum, Prospective Students, and Friends of Auburn University, a home where they can go and find out all the latest news, scheduled meetings, and planned events that go on in the greater Baton Rouge area!

BRAAC also provides The Cecil Hagood Memorial Scholarship in tribute to a true Auburn Man, friend, and founding member of our Baton Rouge Area Club. This scholarship is awarded to a deserving prospective student of the greater Baton Rouge area. The scholarship pays for 1/3 of the out-of-state tuition costs, the university waves 1/3 tuition costs, and the student pays 1/3 of the costs, which is then equivalent to in-state tuition. However, due to the ever-rising costs of tuition to Auburn and our declining participation in funding the scholarship, we have temporarily suspended the Cecil Hagood Memorial Scholarship. We do hope to continue our scholarship giving on a smaller basis as funding allows.

BRAAC Looking for New Leadership

With some recent turnover in the club’s leadership committee, we are trying to get things going again. We regret to inform everyone that as of this time there is not anything planned for the Auburn/LSU game. We will post any updates as soon as they develop.

2011 Club Dues

Dues are $20 per family and are payable to BRAAC. Please send contact information updates to Skoltz7@aol.com.

Upcoming Calendar Events:

We would like to revive our annual Christmas party this year, although a date has not been set. If anyone is willing to host the party this year, please let us know. Look for more information in the coming months.
